EARLSHALL CASTLE
We were exploring the area around the Royal Air Force Base at Leuchars in Fife, Scotland when we stopped to take a look at Earlshall Castle. The castle is located very near the base and it is a marvel to see the modern aircraft flying near the ancient castle.

Earlshall Castle was built in 1546 and has been wonderfully restored and is in remarkable condition. Unfortunately we were not able to enter the castle complex because it is privately owned and not open to the public. We wanted to share with our viewers our pictures of the gatehouse and the fact that a castle is located here.
